The company has updated one of its most trusted motorcycles with modern styling, smart technology, and better fuel economy to appeal to young motorcyclists and commuters.
The new bike is priced at ₹86,500, making it a great value for riders who are looking for a bike with a perfect blend of performance, comfort, mileage, and advanced features.
The XTEC 2.0 version is also more upmarket and sporty, and the Hero Super Splendor has always been known for its reliability and low maintenance cost. Besides cosmetic enhancements, Hero has also added some practical safety and connectivity options that modernize the motorcycle and make it more functional for everyday riding.
Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 Gets Reliable Engine and Better Mileage
The new Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is powered by a trusted 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that has been designed to deliver smooth and refined performance for city and highway usage. This engine delivers 10.7 hp power at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm, providing a comfortable and stable riding experience for riders on their daily commutes.
The motorcycle is equipped with a quiet 5-speed transmission which enhances speed control and riding comfort in various road situations.

Hero MotoCorp claims that the bike can deliver an impressive mileage of around 72 km/l, which is around 4 km/l better than the previous model. This new fuel efficiency has been achieved thanks to a new APFI technology that optimises the injection process, minimising fuel waste.
Smart Digital Features Make Riding More Convenient
The modern fully digital instrument cluster is one of the highlights of the Hero Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The display is compatible with Bluetooth and can connect riders’ smartphones directly to the motorcycle. Upon connection, the rider will be able to display incoming calls, SMS alerts and caller ID information as well as phone battery status on the screen.
The electronic display also features helpful riding data like real-time mileage and low fuel alerts. The motorcycle’s design has also been updated with a USB Type-C charging port, which allows for the easy charging of smartphones during travel, increasing the bike’s usability for modern riders.
Improved Safety Features Add Extra Confidence on Roads
Hero MotoCorp has introduced several important safety upgrades in the new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. All four indicators blink together in emergency situations, bad weather or when stopped at the roadside, with one of the most noticeable additions being the hazard light feature. This feature is rarely seen in motorcycles within this segment.
The motorcycle has a 240mm front disc brake option for improved braking control, with budget-conscious buyers able to opt for the drum brake version. The bike additionally gets telescopic front suspension and an engine kill switch that helps riders instantly switch off the engine during emergency situations.
Sporty Design and Premium Styling Improve Road Presence
Hero has also worked very hard on the design of the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The bike is more sporty, stylish, and premium than the previous one. Attractive bike design with bold XTEC 2.0 badge, stylish rim tapes and premium 3D chrome emblem adds a fresh modern identity to the bike.
The company has also reengineered the seat with twin texture materials and aesthetic stitching to ensure the rider’s comfort on long trips. These upgrades not only make the bike look good, but they also add to the commuter appeal.
